smartBLE

The smartBLE smart device is very similar to the smartWiFi, except it relies on Bluetooth Low Energy instead of WiFi.

This project is shared with the Embedded Computing website, as the whole development is carried out with the tools I use for embedded computing.​

BLE Provisionning

For the connection, the Android or iOS app looks for the available Bluetooth radios and lists them. Then, it establishes the connection with the selected device.

Call the Bluetooth menu...

...press Connect BLE Device...

...select the device...

...wait for the connection...

...press Run...

...and play!

​​Finalised and Working Device

The device in encased inside the standard 9 x 3 cm red box with the I²C ribbon cable connected to the RobotTX.
