I²C True Colour Sensor ADJD-S371

The ADJD-S371 from Avago is an elaborate colour sensor. It provides 4 channels, red, green, blue and clear and 10 bits per channel.

However, this comes at a price: the sensor requires calibration, white balance, offset and gain settings. Advanced algorithms are required to process the four raw measures to identify or recognise a colour. 

A pre-processor is thus highly recommended.
