I²C with fischertechnik RoboPRO
The new release RoboPRO 3.1.3 includes I²C support.
What Is I²C?
I²C I-square-C stands for Inter Integrated Circuit. I²C is also often referred at as TWI or Two Wire Interface, although technical differences exist but are beyond the scope of this short introduction.
I²C defines a bus to which devices are connected with two wires:

An I²C bus is managed by a master and the other devices are slaves:
The fischertechnik Robo TX is the master. Some addresses are reserved as 0x00~0x07, or are already used by the RoboTX and Robotics TXT controllers as 0x50~0x57. |
