Interface Boards for fischertechnik Models
Apart from the official fischertechnik controllers like the RoboTX or the Robotics TXT, interesting alternatives offer interface boards to be used with popular micro-controllers and micro-computers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
Didacta Advance, based in Croatia, launched in 2019 an interface board for the BBC micro:bit, and expanded this year with three new interface boards for the Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega and Raspberry Pi. Apart from the more affordable price, those interface boards leverage the wide offer in languages, frameworks and tools those development boards offer. To name a few options: C/C++, Python, block-based MakeCode, event-based and IoT-ready Node-RED. |
