At as today, the example works with 3 TX controllers based on parallel processing.

However, there are two main drawbacks:
As shown on the left, some TX controllers are saturated with 100% of their inputs and outputs used, in red. There's no room for future developments |
The solution would be to use the distributed computing approach, with one TX controller per group.

As main benefits,
There are presently four groups: Out, In, X-Y-Z and Services. As shown on the right, the TX controllers are no longer saturated, in green and yellow, providing room for future developments. So four TX controllers would be required, one more than when all the sensors and actuators are consolidated. For example, the Out unit doesn't use all the input ports. |
